Memorial Day Weekend Is Here!
Memorial Day Weekend Is Here!
It’s our unofficial start to summer. Pools are open and ready for swimmers. Barbeques and patio furniture are dusted off. Vehicles are prepped for road trips. We want to get out and enjoy being outside, and being together. We have gathered some things you may consider for the upcoming weekend – from solemn observances and traditional ceremonies, to festivals and fun. Hampton Roads, Southeastern Virginia, and Northeastern North Carolina have many things to see and do this time of year.
Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it.
It flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it.
