Alanton is an upscale, mature neighborhood in the northern part of Virginia Beach, Virginia. It is bordered by the Baycliff and Linkhorn Estates neighborhoods. Most homes in Alanton were built in the 1960s and have been renovated. There is immense pride of ownership here. Waterfront homes are available as this neighborhood runs along Linkhorn Bay, Broad Bay, and The Narrows. Alanton includes a neighborhood boat ramp.

Alanton is near Great Neck Road, and an easy drive to Shore Drive and the Bay beaches or Hilltop for shopping and dining. The neighborhood is also near Virginia Beach General Hospital and the area’s many medical facilities. 

In addition to the beauty of the neighborhood, many residents mention the Alanton-Baycliff Recreation Center pool as the hub of activity every summer -- many happy memories are made there.
