I was raised in the Midwest, moved to Tidewater in 1978, and now consider this my home. My family has lived in Virginia Beach and the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake, but I'm familiar with - and have sold homes in - all the Tidewater cities: Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and even Windsor and Isle of Wight County.
Prior to beginning my real estate career, I worked in the building industry for over 18 years. I feel this was good preparation for what I do now - helping Sellers market their homes and helping Buyers find that dream home!
I am a REALTORĀ® - a member of the National Association of Realtors, and the local Hampton Roads Realtors Association. This means that I subscribe to the Realtor Code of Ethics -a higher standard than just obtaining an agent's license. And, I am a full-time agent. This is my career, not just a part time job for me.
In addition, I am an Accredited Buyer's Agent (ABR) which means I've had additional training to help me help my Buyer clients better. I also obtained my CRS Designation, which allows me to better serve my Seller clients. And, I recently completed training for my MRP - Military Relocation Professional. This designation reflects my commitment to better serving those who serve us - our nation's active duty and retired military personnel and their families.
I'm proud to say that over 90% of my business each year comes from repeat clients and referrals by past clients. My clients are more than a business transaction to me; They are my purpose in real estate and have become my extended family. I am proud that they trust me enough to refer their friends, family and associates to me!
When not working, I enjoy singing barbershop a cappella harmony with the Virginia Coast Chorus of Sweet Adelines, International. Music is very important to me, and when you're singing, you can't worry about anything else!
I hope that you'll give me a call, so that we can get to know each other, and I can demonstrate to you how I provide - "Professional Results... With A Personal Touch."
