Billy is from middle Tennessee, the Volunteer State and home of the Grand Ole Opry! Interestingly enough he graduated high school on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. Being from the Volunteer State underscores his commitment to the citizens of the United States of America and to residents of Southeastern Virginia.
Less than two weeks after graduating High School Billy embarked upon the biggest adventure of his lifetime with the United States Marine Corps as an aircraft electrician. A scant 29 ½ years later he retired from the Naval Safety Center in Norfolk, Va. and became a resident of the Hampton Roads area settling near Great Bridge.Ā
Billyās work ethic was honed starting in childhood growing up in rural Tennessee on a farm which served him well as a Marine and will serve you well as your REALTOR® of choice. Early to bed and early to rise werenāt just words, they were a way of life. Starting at age 8 he had to be up and at it tending to a commercial chicken farm prior to school. He then had an hour and a half bus ride to / from school where most of his homework was done. In the afternoon it was back to the barn.
In the springtime he worked in tobacco fields planting seedlings, in the summertime it was hay harvesting and, in the fall, it was tobacco harvesting and processing. Most importantly, he was taught to always leave things better off than the way he found them. When he made a mistake, he was taught to immediately own up to it and to find a way to remedy the situation.
As a REALTORĀ®,Ā Billyās client care is underscored by his unwavering dedication to integrity and his pledge to serve everyone to the utmost of his abilities with transparency all the while respecting and preserving their confidentiality. Through these endeavors trust, confidence and rapport will be built leading to long-lasting mutual relationships.
Billy and his wife Shannon are dedicated to physical fitness. Shannon is a Personal Trainer and a Physical Therapist Assistant. Together they have four children, three daughters, a son, and three terrors (grandsons).
